Showroom Host

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Dealership Host at our state of the art SKODA Dealership in Colne.

If you take great pride in genuinely helping customers and delivering first class service that keeps them coming back again and again, then look no further than Simpsons SKODA.

Right now we are looking for highly motivated individual with a passion for providing exceptional levels of customer service to join us as Showroom Host. As our Showroom Host, you’ll be the first point of contact for our existing and new customers, either on the phone or in person.

You will need to make showroom visitors feel comfortable in the dealership, offering refreshments and building rapport. You’ll use your customer service skills on the telephone and in person and accurately record and maintain customer records and sales enquiries to support our sales team in achieving their targets.

It goes without saying that you are a real people person, who has the confidence to quickly engage in conversation with a wide range of people and deliver great customer service. You’ll be a team-player who is comfortable operating in a fast paced environment where there are set processes and procedures to follow and paperwork to complete. While you don’t need previous motor industry experience to be successful in this role, we are looking for people with significant experience in a customer focused environment. In addition you must hold a full, current, valid photo driving licence.

Bamber Bridge Location

Job Description

The key responsibilities include the servicing and repairs on new and used vehicles, ensuring the work is completed on time (and within standard times) economically and efficiently. The core skill required is the ability to efficiently diagnose vehicle faults and to continuously improve working methods and standards.

Personal Requirements

This vacancy is for a fully qualified, time-served technician able to play a key role in strengthening the already established, high performance, service team at our All Makes Used Car location in Bamber Bridge.

Ideally possessing some VW Group experience, you will have a commitment to quality of service and high standards of customer care, a ‘right first time’ attitude and the ability to utilise modern diagnostic techniques and equipment. MOT experience would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.
