Line Manager: FINANCE DIRECTOR

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the group for an Assistant Accountant.

The Accounts Assistant will be a key member of the accounting function, reporting directly to the Finance Director. They will be an integral part of the Accounts Department, assisting in the efficient running of the accounts function and ensuring strong financial accounting and reporting throughout the group.

• To assist in the production of the monthly management accounts in a timely and accurate manner
• To complete weekly and monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring all balances are known and are correct
• Optimising the systems we have in place, making sure are we are using them efficiently
• Monthly vehicle stock checks
• Purchase ledger invoices input and control of the supplier accounts
• Provide backup and assistance in the vehicle administration of the Group
• To communicate effectively with department managers and assist them with any financial matters required
