Logistics Co-ordinator

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To take delivery of all new and used cars and check for transit damage for all Vehicles that arrive at the Main Bamber Bridge Site;
  • All vehicles to be damage checked via the Auto-pad and when necessary, prepare damage reports in line with the Process and Timeframes set out by the Brand and dealership, and to be submitted to Manufacture for authorisation, Liaising directly with the Warranty Manager.
  • To provide administration support and complete accurately all administration paperwork as required.
  • To generate relevant documents and paperwork such as job cards, stock maintenance cards and ELSA paperwork for PDI and preparation to be handed to workshop control
  • To ensure that all cars onsite are maintained in line with the battery care programme
  • To be the nominated campaign controller for the PDI Centre
  • Prepare and coordinate the vehicle movement schedule for Car Transporters ensuring all required vehicles are planned to be dropped off and collected in the most effective and timely way to the dealerships and storage facilities
  • To move cars on site and when required to the dealerships or storage
  • To deal with requests from for cars to be moved
  • Manage the on-site parking and prep centre lanes
  • To complete all relevant training in line with business and brand requirements;
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment; ensuring adhere with Health and Safety requirements
  • To ensure that confidentiality is maintained
  • Any other reasonable requests from your line manager
