Simpsons SKODA has been awarded the Digital Experience Award at the national Auto Trader Retailer Awards 2021.

Based in Lancashire with showrooms in Preston and Colne, Simpsons has beaten competition from over 13,000 UK automotive retailers to receive the Digital Experience (over 100 cars) award at the 14th annual Auto Trader Retailer Awards.

The Digital Experience award recognises those retailers which are following all the very best digital marketing practices and providing their customers with an exceptional online experience. This year’s winners showcased the very best digital forecourts, as determined by a panel of experts. They are also among the top performing retailers on the Auo Trader marketplace according to its performance data.

Now in its 14th year, the Auto Trader Retailer Awards celebrate the very best in automotive retailing; those brands that are pushing the standard of all aspects of the industry, including digital excellence, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. In total, 18 award winners were announced across seven categories during the awards ceremony. It was hosted by Auto Trader sales directors Rebecca Clark and Darren Moon, as well as COO, Catherine Faiers.

The winners of this year’s Auto Trader Retailer Awards were determined by a combination of in depth analysis of millions of data points, independent judging by a panel of experts (from Google and Rightmove, as well as global media agency The Specialist Works, and the automotive executive search specialist, Ennis & Co), customer feedback and from the UK’s largest mystery shopping programme among auto retailers.

Speaking on their win, Board Member, John Williams said: “Simpsons SKODA are delighted to be awarded the prestigious 'Digital Experience Award'.
