Over the past few months, I had been looking to purchase a Kamiq SE 1.0 DSG to replace my then current car. I used various websites to try and get a good deal and saw an offer from Simpson Skoda [amongst others].
I reviewed the offer and I was contacted by Jeff Armer [email and phone as the dealership was 130 miles from me and physically closed] in relation to a pre reg 1.0 auto SE L. The car had most of the extras that I would have chosen, and a few that were nice to have but I wouldn’t have paid for. Jeff could not have been more helpful, and I decided to reserve the car [£99.00] until circumstances would allow me to proceed.
A few days later, and following various contacts with Jeff, we agreed on a part exchange deal and Jeff asked if they could deliver the car for me to check it out, and if I was satisfied proceed with the deal.
On Friday 1st May, Neil Simpson set off on a 130-mile drive with my car on a trailer. He arrived at about 10.00 and unloaded the car for me to examine it and decide what to do [I had previously paid for it but could still back out]. The car looked fine, despite having been subject to heavy rain and 130 miles on the back of a trailer.
Neil, was very professional and observed all the social distancing rules, wiped down all the surfaces he had touched, even though he was wearing gloves, and the hand over was completed.
I have driven the car just a few miles [due to the present situation] but I am really impressed with how the car performs.
Since then Jeff has been in regular contact, offering help and advice to a grateful customer. I am very impressed with Simpson Skoda and wish they were nearer so that the relationship could continue."
Mr Keedy from Lincolnshire said:
"I just had my Kodiaq vRS home delivered. The car and delivery were faultless and at no time did I feel at risk during the handover. I would happily use Simpsons Skoda again. Five stars!!"
