You will be accountable for driving productivity, developing a skilled technical team and maintaining consistently high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage the daily operation of the workshop at Simpsons Škoda Colne.
• Ensure servicing and repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to manufacturer standards.
• Allocate work effectively according to technician skills, workload and workshop capacity.

About the opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Warranty Manager to take responsibility for the effective management and administration of warranty, extended warranty and goodwill claims across our three sites.

Reporting directly to the Group Aftersales Manager, you will play an important role in ensuring warranty claims are accurate, compliant and submitted within manufacturer requirements, while supporting our Service, Workshop and Parts teams across the Group.

What you’ll be doing

• Process manufacturer warranty, extended warranty and goodwill claims accurately and within required deadlines.
• Ensure all claims are supported by the correct documentation and comply with manufacturer requirements.
• Monitor daily and weekly warranty reports and resolve outstanding claims promptly.
• Investigate rejected, queried or unpaid warranty claims and take appropriate corrective action.
• Work closely with Workshop Controllers, Service Advisors, Technicians and Parts teams across all three sites to ensure accurate information is captured before claims are submitted.
• Manage and support more complex warranty and goodwill claims.
• Carry out regular internal warranty audits across the Group to maintain strong standards of accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure manufacturer recalls and service campaigns are completed, recorded and claimed correctly.
• Prepare documentation and support the business during manufacturer warranty audits.
• Keep up to date with manufacturer warranty policies, procedures, technical bulletins and changes to requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues on warranty procedures and best practice.
• Work with Aftersales Managers and Workshop Controllers to ensure warranty processes are applied consistently across all three sites.
• Maintain accurate warranty records and filing systems.
• Provide warranty support across the Group during periods of annual leave or absence where required.
• Authorise warranty and goodwill work in line with manufacturer and dealership policy.
• Identify responsibility for disallowed claims and help prevent repeat errors through improved processes and guidance.

Accuracy, compliance and consistency

This role is central to maintaining strong manufacturer compliance across the Group. You will help ensure warranty processes are applied consistently, claims are supported correctly and potential issues are identified before they become repeated problems.

• Maintain strong standards of claim accuracy and manufacturer compliance.
• Support internal and manufacturer warranty audits.
• Identify patterns in rejected or disallowed claims and help improve processes.
• Provide clear guidance to colleagues across Aftersales departments.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone with strong automotive warranty knowledge who is comfortable working in a busy dealership environment and supporting multiple locations.

• Previous experience in automotive warranty administration or warranty management.
• Experience within a franchised motor dealership environment.
• A strong understanding of manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to administration.
• The ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve rejected or unpaid claims.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with technicians, advisors, managers and manufacturer representatives.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities across three sites while working to strict manufacturer deadlines.
• Strong IT and administrative skills.
• A proactive approach to identifying errors, improving processes and maintaining compliance.
• Previous Volkswagen Group experience would be advantageous, although strong relevant warranty experience is also welcomed.
