Your Day-to-Day:
Cosmetic Repairs
- Perform paint and minor panel rectification work to the highest standard
- Apply smart repair techniques and use specialist tools (we provide them!)
- Carry out plastic repairs as needed
Alloy Wheels
- Safely remove and refit wheels and tyres for cosmetic repair
- Fix superficial kerb scuffs and enhance diamond-cut finishes
- Check wheel torque and tyre pressures for total precision
Prep and Paint Perfection
- Mix paints to exact match using digital scales and mixing schemes
- Apply primers, colours, and lacquer in our dedicated spray booths
- Use all safety equipment and PPE as required
Final Touches & Quality Check
- Polish, inspect, and detail your work to ensure it’s retail-ready
- Make sure every vehicle looks (and feels) brand new
- Keep your workspace clean and safe

The PDI and Logistics Co-ordinator is responsible for controlling and coordinating on-site PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) operations and vehicle movements. The role ensures the efficient flow of new and used vehicles through the Preparation Centre and between dealership sites, maintaining brand standards, operational efficiency, and compliance with health and safety requirements.
This role would suit an individual with excellent organisational skills, strong administrative capability, and experience driving a variety of vehicles. A full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 3 years is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Delivery & Inspection
Take delivery of all new and used vehicles arriving at the Preparation Centre.
Conduct transit damage checks using Auto-pad systems.
Prepare and submit damage reports (VDDR) in line with brand processes and timeframes.
Liaise directly with the Warranty Manager for manufacturer authorisation.
Ensure all vehicles are maintained in accordance with the battery care programme.
PDI & Vehicle Preparation Control
Facilitate the flow of new car PDI and used car reconditioning volumes.
Ensure vehicles are PDI’d and prepared to required standards for handover.
Act as the nominated Campaign Controller for the PDI Centre.
Generate and distribute relevant documentation including job cards, stock maintenance cards, ELSA paperwork,
Ensure paperwork is completed accurately, including delivery notes and release notes.
Make up number plates when required.
Logistics & Vehicle Movement
Coordinate vehicle movements between the three sites.
Prepare and manage the daily vehicle movement schedule for car transporters.
Ensure all required vehicles are ready for collection and delivery in the most effective and timely manner.
Respond promptly to vehicle movement requests from Sales departments.
